‘Battlefield Heroes’ Debut Trailer

29

February

The first trailer for the computer game Battlefield Heroes is now online. If you haven’t heard of it, Heroes is a First Person Shooter that’s a massive departure from the series thanks to its cartoonish art style. Oh yeah, it’s free too.

Electronic Arts hopes these changes will open the hardcore series up to the masses, and with the free price tag and supposedly low system requirements there’s no excuse not to check this one out. Battlefield Heroes will be released in the Summer of 2008 for the PC.

Korean PC maker Sanjut is announcing their answer to the Asus EEE in the eventual release of the TangoX Nano. The TangoX will house a removable Skype phone, an 800×480 pixel touch screen, a card reader, USB 2.0, and WiFi A,B,G all based on the Via C7-M ULV 1.2Ghz chipset with 1GB of DDR2 RAM and either a 40 or 80 GB hard drive.

Personally, I almost purchased an EEE and ultimately didn’t because of the keyboard size and the fairly small SSD hard drive. This is looking more and more like it could give the EEE a serious run for its money. There is no word as of yet what the TangoX will cost or when it might show up stateside.
