Google Sites was just launched, and everyone seems to make a huge deal whenever Google launches anything. The fact is that Google sites is nothing new and its certainly not amazing. Its just something revamped and rehashed by a big company that holds lots of power. So what is it?

Google Sites lets you build your own little site to collaborate images, videos, documents and attachments to share with friends, family, or a whole organization.

Ok so first thoughts are its just another wiki with more options. I am sure Google sites will be the hot news for a while, and we will show you more once we have tested it out to see how great its hyped to be.

While describing the MacBook Pro changes, we like to use the word face lift in place of upgrade, we couldn’t justify that in this post. The MacBook pro did just get a bit more beefy though. The biggest thing being the processor. Core 2 Duo processors have been added to the new MacBooks, along with a multi-touchpad and an upgrade to 802.11n wireless networking.

Most of the models also received hard drive upgrades as well to something a bit larger. I’m not seeing a pricedrop so don’t get too excited. You will still pay for what you get.

Looks like a few countries are getting a bit offended from some of the recent videos on Youtube, because it wasn’t available for about 2 hours Sunday. This comes after Pakistani authorities ordered all ISP’s to block the site. That meant Youtube was was not accessible around the world to many.

Pakistani authorities say they found videos to be offensive and that they should be removed rather than cause unrest in Pakistan. In particular officials want a Movie trailer removed whose author is Geert Wilders. They have made no decision other than to continue to block Youtube in Pakistan, so I guess we will see how long that lasts.

This isn’t the first time a country has done this and I am sure that it won’t be the last. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a video is worth a million.
