The Wii MotionPlus is going to be a nice help for serious Wii players. Anybody that has used the Wii’s controller long enough can tell you its just not made right for the hand to do what it needs to. It could be better, and while Nintendo does not have any known plans to make a Wii Remote, it does have plans to release the Wii MotionPlus which helps you get a lot better grip, and have more precision with your movements. So with the new guitar Hero Aerosmith game coming out after Guitar Hero you might be wondering what makes this game any better. All I can say is that it is basically just a repackage of GH3. The game has a good mix of some classic songs but unless your a Aerosmith fan I say don’t buy it or you will have wasted your money.

Why game companies do this is just for making another easy sale off of a hit game. Just catching a tale end of something can still make millions of dollars. I for one can’t stand Aerosmith and think that their songs are a little bit of a rehash of one they made previous. Thats just my opinion.. Nothing personal Aerosmith. Keep in mind there are only about 10 non Aerosmith songs on the game so don’t buy it expecting anything more than what you were warned about.

Mortal Kombat is finally going “next gen,” and it’s evolving drastically as part of the process. Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe will obviously include characters from the “DC Universe” in addition to the usual cast of characters. As if that combo weren’t odd enough, this will also be the first Mortal Kombat game not to receive an ‘M’ rating.

The Mortal Kombat series has always been incredibly violent, and losing the gore that goes along with the Mature rating could alienate the series’ hardcore audience. We’ll have to wait and see whether the move will backfire or successfully introduce the series to a younger mass audience.

Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe comes out this fall for the 360 and PS3.

Tomorrow the demo for Iron Man will land on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, with a version appearing on the PSN sometime soon. Iron Man is a 3^rd person action game, based on the Marvel comic superhero. The full game will be out on May 2, the same day as the movie.

Maybe putting the demo up early is a sign that this game might actually be better than most licensed titles.
