Windows Live Maps Upgraded

11

April

Microsoft implemented several new features into their Windows Live Maps service yesterday. Here are three of the more interesting additions:

  1. Up-to-date traffic information using Clearlow technology;
  2. Ability to export directions to GPSs;
  3. KML file support, letting you import custom maps from Google Maps.

Your move, Google.

My Chemical Romance Has A New Album?

04

April

black-parade-is-dead.jpg

Although My Chemical Romance’s tour is not over, they are going to release a new album. With their myspace friends a buzzing, no one knows what will be in store for this album.

Except the person who wrote the file name. As I downloaded the image from the MCR bulletin, the file name was MCR_LIVE_coverFNL. So there is no need to become Sherlock Holmes in this situation.

It is obviously a release of their live tour and will probably be released as a double DVD/CD.

I already have Black Parade so I don’t want to spend more moohlah and what I already have. So suck it!

Imagine a team of two programmers, taking the MUGEN engine software to the limit by creating their own video game that is actually good.

You don’t have to imagine for long because this team from Spain is near finished and the buzz in incredible. Teaser after teaser the team has been hard at work creating their own sprites for the game. Every fighting game possibly imaginable was created, drawn by hand, and programmed by these to programmers; Ahruon and Orkimides. Every beloved geek character will be on this game. KOS-MOS, Ivy, Cloud, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Tecmo, X-Men etc.

This game is supposed to be better than Super Smash Bros. because, it has the characters from Super Smash and every fighting game. Take a look at the latest teaser.

Google’s CEO Eric Schmidt, said today that he would be concerned if Microsoft bought Yahoo. The effect it would have on the flow of the internet according to him would not be good. Even though the $44.6 billion that was offered previously was not accepted by Yahoo because it was too low, Microsoft seems to be bent on acquiring Yahoo.

Eric Schmidt said that Microsoft has basically not played by the rules in the past and has made it hard for everyone. If Microsoft would purchase yahoo, then they would dominate in Web Advertising market share.
