Sony announced yesterday that Metal Gear Solid 4 will be released on June 12 for the PlayStation 3. Many people have been waiting for this game to come out before picking up the system, and Sony’s aware of that fact. That’s why they also announced a special Metal Gear Solid PS3 bundle, which will include an 80GB PlayStation 3, a copy of the game, and a DUALSHOCK 3 wireless controller.

This bundle will cost $500, a good deal especially if you’re eager to jump on the recently-victorious Blu-ray bandwagon. For those of you who already have a PS3 and just can’t wait, there will be a nation-wide preorder promotion granting access to a multiplayer beta test for Metal Gear Online in late April. The wait’s almost over.
