By keeping your computer memory super cooled with liquid nitrogen, you can basically keep the data ‘fresh’ for a long time.

Long time in the sense of computer memory is roughly anything longer than a minute. These four students at Princeton University have experimented with cooling the memory cards to preserve the data. Submersing the card into Liquid Nitrogen for a full hour, returning it to the computer and powering it up showed them that no data had been lost.
