Cell phone spam is not nearly as bad as getting slammed with a million emails of spam for say a gmail account, yahoo account or maybe a personal hosted email account, but it is increasing, and its even more frustrating dealing with Cell phone spam than your typical for the fact that you can be charged for each text message . So what can you do to fight cell phone spam?

• Call your carrier right away, make them aware so they can block future text messages from that location. Another thing to do is also get your money back from the beginning before fees accumulate, especially if you do not have unlimited text messaging.
• Spam text message are sent via Internet called SMSC. Log into your account in your cellphone and block this option so people cant send you spam via the internet.
• register your cell phone number to block spam at the National Do Not Call Registry list.
• If you want to take things a step further you can File a complaint with the FCC.

These tips should help you keep your spam text messages to a minimum if any.
