So Joey Chestnut did it again. He is still the reigning champ for chowing down dogs like a mad man. The hot dog eating contest rules were a bit different this time around. The contest which is held once a year in Coney Island has had 12 minute hot dog contests for years in which the contestants try to shove as many dogs down their gullet as they can, but this year they changed the rules to 10 minutes which means people get tired faster.

Joey Chestnut went up against his biggest contender and former reigning champion Takeru Kobayashi. They had the first tie ever in history, so they had to go from there to eat 5 hot dogs, and whoever could finish first won.

All I can say was this was one crazy intense competition which was held on ESPN of all stations. I guess you can call it a sport. You can bet your behinds we will be there next year to watch and see if Chestnut can hold down his title again for 3 years in a row.
